One lucky cycling fan is being offered the chance to follow a stage of the 2010 Tour de France from the Garmin-Transitions team car through an eBay auction that aims to raise funds for The Independent newspaper’s 2009 Christmas Appeal.

So far, the prize, which carries with it return flights for two people from the London area and an overnight stay in shared accommodation in France, plus a Garmin-Transitions goodie bag, has attracted 40 bids, with the highest to date standing at £1,601.

Korean toy-maker and customizer Coolrain recently put together the following series of figures for fellow Korean retailer Kasina. Four different versions mimic what is arguable some of the current influences within streetwear on both a fixed gear/skate and fashion perspective. Source.

bfg bike stolen by jubru

Our pal Christoph has recently had his bike stolen over in Germany. He’s asked us to spread the word. It’s a one of a kind build with bfg written in frame on the top tube. It has a few individual touches which will be easy to spot and the frame itself is massive. There won’t be many out there that can ride a frame of it’s size. Please get in touch with Christoph through the comments on here if you spot the bike anywhere. More photos can be found here and over at the Stijn cycles flickr.

Following on from the earlier post, here’s Rafael’s belt driven offering. Photos from the frameforum. Original Rafael heads up from the Spinwell blog.

Rafael describe it as below.

Characterized by a town and its Japanese fans it combines old-school with the unquenchable thirst for innovations.
The pure simplicity of the first bikes – two wheels, one gear – nothing else, together with a bespoke carbon frame made in a Formula 1 company and an innovative drivetrain.

Advanced but Reduced.
